Job description: Job DescriptionYour mission:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specialized in software development to lead strategic projects within software development projects. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring high quality, timely execution, and alignment with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Project lifecycle management: Define project scope, baselines, and deliverables; plan schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Methodology & quality: Promote Agile (Scrum/Kanban) best practices, participate in retrospectives and reviews; oversee quality assurance and compliance with software development standards.
  • Risk & change control: Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and lead formal Change Control Board sessions to manage scope changes.
  • Team leadership & coordination: Lead cross-functional teams (developers, testers, architects); define roles using RACI frameworks; support, coach, and motivate teams toward successful delivery.
  • Stakeholder communication: Maintain transparent reporting, escalate issues when needed, and align expectations between business, technical, and external stakeholders.
  • Project closure & optimization: Coordinate go-live activities, document lessons learned, and archive project materials for future reuse.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing software development projects, ideally in telecom or ICT environments
  • Certified in PMP, Prince2, or Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum Master)
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with PM tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Confluence
  • Proven ability to engage and align both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset, proactive in risk management, with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); Luxembourgish and/or German is considered an asset
