Ana Pataki

I hold a completed university degree in sociology, obtained after a standard period of study exceeding eight semesters, within the broader field of social sciences closely related to sociology. My academic training provides a solid foundation for doctoral research focused on labor, migration, and governance in post-industrial urban contexts. I have knowledge and experience in qualitative social science research methods, acquired through my Master’s thesis and research-based coursework. This includes experience with qualitative data collection and analysis, interview-based research, and the interpretation of institutional and policy contexts. I am well aware that strong methodological competence in qualitative research is a core requirement for this position and consider this one of my key strengths. I have an excellent practice in English, both written and spoken, and use English regularly in academic and professional contexts. I hereby kindly ask for an exemption from submitting an English language test certificate. Although English is not my first language, I have acquired advanced academic and professional proficiency through sustained use in international educational and professional environments. I have successfully completed multiple international training programs conducted entirely in English.
